To my knowledge both have your physical IP‘s and they know the time and amount of data you send. They don’t have your private keys which means they don‘t know what you send.


Tailscale wants you to register via Google, Microsoft or Github. But their app is on F Droid and it’s open-source. You can also host your own exchange server named Headscale (open source?).


Zerotier only needs an email address. But I don’t think that they have open-sourced anything, …
