Other than going through your mail, what are common ways to for someone to get your address?

So I don't know how this happened but I got a phone call from a scammer the other day.

They had my name and they had my phone number. They claimed to be the electric company offering me a discount on klw for 18 months. All I had to do was confirm some information.

I stalled them and pretended I had dementia and couldn't hold a conversation until they figured they were wasting their time 20 min into it.
