Italian's Data Protection Regulator declare OpenAI breached GDPR when training ChatGPT on European's personal data

This is no surprise, I had an in person debate with the Italian DPA early last year on ChatGPT surrounding these issues and they told me at the time that they were continuing their investigation into the data used to train the models (which OpenAI scraped from the Internet in a way which I stated I believed was illegal).
