Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

So I'm generally pretty good at finding a way around or doing without when it comes to my software usage. I've hit a wall though and need to run software that fingerprints the system it's installed on. If I ran it in an LXC container would the fingerprint be of generic LXC drivers or would it see my actual hardware/software configuration? Would this be a valid means of poisoning the data collection?

Thanks in advance
