I've spent so much time and effort in the last 5-6 years devoted to Cybersecurity and earning Certs. I've never even thought of moving out of the field. I've got an additional 15 years of engineering, sys admin, and network admin experience. I now have an opportunity for a nice pay bump, but it's not in Cybersecurity. Has anyone transitioned out of Cybersecurity to another facet of IT, and how did it turn out for you?
