Stories about CTI / threat intelligence

Are there any CTI professionals here with some fun/interesting stories from your time tracking criminal groups, infiltrating communities etc? I'd love to hear some stories.

I recently [recorded a podcast](https://open.spotify.com/episode/4yn6RYLWBCjOVGKNPLFQDE) with two threat intelligence analysts from my work, swapping stories about infiltrating forums and marketplaces. One interesting story was about having to use Japanese language skills to convince a Russian hacker they were a Japanese hacker and not a British threat intel analyst.
