Has anyone made it out of this field?

I’ve worked in security for seven years and have had certain elements really worn me down over time. I don’t know what happened, but over the past year the following have really made me feel dissatisfaction with this work:

•The feeling of not really creating anything with my labor.

•Being a cost center to the business and having budget constantly scrutinized/not getting enough to adequately cover a security program.
