Sending Password Locked Excel Docs via Email

I recently started studying Cybersecurity on my own, and it’s become quite a personal frustration of mine that my company emails Excel docs and the password to the person needing the document. Their bid for “security” is to send them in separate emails, however our process is to copy the list of email addresses this is going to and paste into both emails headers.
