Opinions on whether Microsoft certs matter at all for info sec hiring?

My org is offering vouchers for all Microsoft courses and certs for free and I'm not sure how valuable the training is. They're also sending me to a SANS course, and **that** I know is a golden opportunity.

I'd like to know if Microsoft certs hold any weight. I do have other productive things I could do with my time rather than spam MSFT certs if they aren't valuable.
