TLDR: Does experience in physical security count as experience in information security? IMHO, ***it depends on the context.*** *If you were in charge of anything that has information, data, e.g. servers, access control, financial information, call center, tech company, an office building that had some form of information, etc. then YES! you* ***might*** *have experience.* If your security experience was guarding a parking lot, a burger joint, or a jewelry store, then absolutely not.
