I think Snapchat is listening to my IRL conversations

I have always noticed that the top 2 or 3 people in my quick add section on the stories page of Snapchat are people that have been a frequent topic of conversation between me and other people IRL and sometimes I have had conversations about these people over Snapchat. It freaks me out.
