Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I know both of these apps are a privacy nightmare but just curious how they are able to ‘communicate’ and if there’s any way to minimise this?

For context I used the Instagram app on my iPhone and searched for an obscure musician who I’ve never searched for previously, viewed the profile but did not follow or interact with any posts apart from viewing them.

I then googled the musicians name.

I then logged into twitter via safari on iOS …
