Developer to SOC Analyst, is my plan feasible?

I'm leaving my developer job soon, and I want to apply for a SOC Analyst position. I have been a developer for 3+ years and no infosec cert but I'm planning to get one this year.
So far I've been doing research on what a SOC Analyst does alongside my CySA+ study. Here's my study plan until February:
Network basics (OSI, TCP/IP, subnetting?), 3 days
Network hands-on (Wireshark), 1 week
SIEM (Snort or Splunk free), 1 week
