Cybersecurity Hiring Event

Hi folks. There is a cybersecurity conference that I would like to attend. A few companies there will be conducting a hiring event, surprisingly.

Although I only have an associates degree in cybersecurity, would it still be worth going to the event ? I have no experience at all.

Also, what might I expect ? I'm sure they don't hire on the spot of course.
