Just a heads up for anyone working as cybersecurity specialist, who is, in fact, a compliance specialist.

You know what I mean: you work in a highly regulated NIST, FERPA, HIPAA, GLBA (etc) environment and your job title includes 'security,' but you're really making sure that the compliance boxes are checked and audits are passed.
