Soc analyst roles going down drastically! Thought?

I’ve been looking into Soc analyst roles for the past year. I’ve noticed that a lot of the job postings are giving more work for less pay for this role. Many postings are even asking for top of the top certifications like the CISSP. What are ya’ll thoughts on those roles offering so little & what do you guys think the role will look like in the next 3 years?
