IT Security Questionnaire: How can you justify not to remove local admin rights from employee's computers?

I'm working for a small company and need to answer an IT security questionnaire from a significantly bigger company. I've seen a couple of those but have never gotten asked if we removed all local admin rights from our employee's computers.
As we also don't do this, I wonder if there's a good explanation for that?
I can't come up with one and didn't even know that this is common.
