Xbox expansion card question

So MS sells an expensive expansion card which is needed to run the optimized games or to use the internal drive. You can't run the games off of a USB external.

So with that being said, [some have used a CFexpress adapter](https://www.reddit.com/r/XboxSeriesS/comments/w2lsdh/verified_m2_ssd_for_expansion_card_adapter/) with the CH SN530 2230 pcie 4.0 x2 ssd successfully.

Other haven't been able to get other drives to work. I think I've seen some 2230 and 2280 drives confirmed not to work.

What could Microsoft be doing …
