x-ways editing event log definition file.

Question for anyone that uses X-ways. I am trying to edit the exvt definition file that parses out windows events on x-ways. I want to add some other events to it. However, when I edit the text document that holds the information for it and saved it after, there is no change. I even tried to process the case again no change. Anyone have any ideas on this.
