Am I the only one surprised here? I went to the Experian’s dispute page just to poke around and saw an extensive list of people doing soft credit checks on me monthly or quarterly.

Now I expect the credit bureaus, my credit cards and my banks to wanna keep their eye on my credit. But what about a bank where my only account was closed years ago? Why are they still doing soft credit checks?
