Wristband watch and privacy what’s your thoughts?

What your thoughts about wristband watches in terms of privacy. I’m thinking about getting one but I would love to know more about its privacy do they work on the internet do they share data about me do they have GPS tracking with exact location or they just detect distance and timing with no location?
