Would it be a wise choice to invite my friends over from apps like Whatsapp and Line over to Element?

I currently use Whatsapp and Line to keep in touch with a lot of different people and I have been in the process of degoogling my smartphone and switching over to foss apps one by one.

I want to mention that I do not mean to promote Whatsapp and Line on here. I actually do not like these apps at all and that is why I want everyone I often chat with to join me on Element.
