As the subject explains, I am wondering if PGP is actually respected as a valid electronic signature in US courts. The reason I ask is because not everyone understands how cryptographically secure digital signatures work--and US judicial officers may question if its a good idea to present it as evidence in front of a jury that may or may not understand how the technology works.
