Work Office 365 account and apps on personal iPad (Question)

Hey I was wondering what can my employer see if I add my work account to Office 365 apps I've downloaded from the app store. I installed it the other day and after adding my work account it said something about new privacy settings and "shared experience" or something like that. I turned it off and then uninstalled it.
