Why should I give up smart speakers from Google? (Nest mini)

We have 3 of them in our house. But with all seriousness, I suggested my spouse that it’s time we got rid of the Google’s listening devices and she told me that she would need some convincing from my side. I found a link or two from the news here and there but wanted to ask here, if any of you folks have recommendations on what would be a good argument. Thank you all in advance!
