Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I keep hearing mentions of the book 1984 on forums and threads and I'm reading it right now, but would love to hear why you guys think it's important or relevant. To my understanding, Orwell knew about the planned future of mass surveillance and the control governments want over people, but what else is there to it?

I'm all ears guys!
