Why is it recomended to reset password using Private/Incognito mode

I noticed that Plex advice users the following when reset password:

To reset the password on the Plex account:

1. Open a Private/Incognito browser window

Does anyone know why? Since Plex advice this, I assume that other websites could advice the same as part of best practice (?).
