It's 2023, doxing is through the roof ([https://www.adl.org/resources/report/online-hate-and-harassment-american-experience-2023](https://www.adl.org/resources/report/online-hate-and-harassment-american-experience-2023)) , especially doxing, yet the US still has no federal/nationwide regulation against this harassment tactic.

Victims of doxing often have no recourse because websites aren't forced to remove it (as they are protected by the outdated Section 230). Moreover, a nationwide doxing legislation is necessary so people in all states are protected by doxers from other states and in foreign jurisdictions.
