Maybe all industries have salespeople doing this stuff but I just exited meeting where the sales guy proclaimed, “our cloud is air-gapped so it’s perfectly secure!” I’m sure he doesn’t know what he is saying or how dumbly oxymoronic that is.
A few years ago it was “secured by blockchain technology”. If you don’t know that blockchain technology is inherently public record then you shouldn’t use the term.
