Why are so many people stubbornly unwilling to use Signal?

I have tried so hard to move all my friends to use Signal, but a handful of them are so unwilling to use Signal. They infuriate me to the point that I want to ditch them at times, but since friends don’t grow on trees, I stay on FB messenger just because of them.
