Why are so many MSSPs ran like trash?

Been an analyst for 2 years now and man, havent heard of a single decent SOC (and I try not to consider myself picky). I know there are probably good SOCs out there and Id love to hear about them. Ive worked in 2 SOCs and have interviewed multiple (declining a few roles because I really didnt like their answers). Gonna list my biggest gripes here to hopefully get a discussion going.
