Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I was looking into a company called BlueCava which is an ad company that started in 2010. Is this the earliest use of browser fingerprinting as a means to track people? I can’t seem to find anything earlier.

Was this the company that started the browsing fingerprinting method?
