I'm setting up aliases for most things, but when I get to things like financial institutions, utilities, and government websites I'm hesitating. Mostly trying to avoid profiling and making any data leaks less likely to effect me or lead to other accounts being hacked.

I guess I'm a bit nervous about such important things having to depend on not just my email provider, but also the alias provider/forwarder (they're different companies in my case). Or maybe it's safer to use …
