Where have all the anonymous remailers gone (long time passing...)?

I am attempting to pull together resources on [anonymous remailers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_remailer) in one place because most of what is left on the Internet is extremely out of date, sometimes by decades.

The first problem I noticed is in both Debian and Ubuntu, mixmaster has been removed from the repository for some reason (I assume lack of maintainers).

What I would like to do is know what the best way is to use anonymous remailers in 2022, where I can get lists …
