Whatsapp is spying on all of us

Whenever I’m on a whatsapp call or send messages, I find ads relevant to my conversation on Instagram. Does anyone else get this? It’s creepy af and should be illegal! The fact that some company is listening to my calls and reading my messages to serve me ads is just unacceptable. Need an alternative that won’t treat me like a product, almost feeling violated at this point.
