What's your favorite free, DFIR tool?

Hey all, I'm a Cybersecurity student, and I have to write a research paper on high-quality free resources applicable to DFIR. Since I'm focusing my major on machine learning and ICS systems, this is a tad out of my wheelhouse. (This DFIR class is a requirement of my degree.)

So, I figured instead of blindly following the Google searches filled with marketing or just getting outdated info from GPT, I'd ask y'all.
