Someone told me this today and I didnt know how to respond. I mean he's clearly right. At some point encryption will be cracked and all your files - even a business's confidential files - will be visible. So should we start encouraging people to use their own servers? Are we misplacing our trust in tools like Cryptomator before uploading? Are there plans or tools being developed that can somehow get around this dystopian outcome?
