We send out a lot of sensitive PDFs through email. In the past, these have not been secured in any way. I would like to change that.

I use PDFSam to put a password on the PDFs that I send out. What's a good way to get the password to the people I'm sending the PDF to? Just a separate email? Do I need to have them call me to get the password? What's a good way to manage this?
