I have worked in IT for a few years and am wanting to transition to a security role.

What is the best way to get the SIEM experience that a lot of hiring managers want? I have used some in a home lab , but with out all the infrastructure and sources of data that are used in a real world environment it don’t seem to provide much of the desired experience.
