What's the actual difference between CAASM and EASM tools?

I have been researching CAASM and EASM tools for a little market research. Having a hard time fully understanding or articulating the actual differences between CAASM and EASM solutions? they seem to do mostly the same things, besides the fact that EASM solutions aim only for external assets. Is this it or am I missing something here? Thanks
