What would you tell yourself 2 years ago RE: cybersec to begin doing?

Personally, I would have told myself:

* Take an interest in relational databases
* Working with containers and container orchestration
* Do more at home with Linux and networking
* Learn about Cloudformation, Terraform, or Ansible
* Get into Python or Go
* practice shell scripting

If you were to talk to yourself, what would you recommend you begin doing now?
