What problems did you face after deleting Facebook-Messenger and how did you tackle them?

Hi, everyone! I have moved to FOSS softwares, services and Linux completely for a while now. But the things I could not delete is Facebook-Messenger and Whatsapp. They are so intertwined with my life that it is hard to live without them. But this time I am determined to get rid of them and use some FOSS apps instead (currently using Telegram).
