What KPIs have you found to be useful when presenting to senior leadership/board to gain influence?

I'm interested to know what cybersecurity/infosec KPIs people present to their company's senior management or board.

The company I currently work for takes the approach at a senior/board level to put trust into the cybersecurity team without necessarily having any visibility as to whether they are rightly or wrongly placing their blind faith into the team.
