We provide a 24x7 SOC internally, and at the moment we're running two people, per shift, 5 shifts per week in 8-hour working patterns.
It's something I've always been interested in, but what is the optimal working pattern for a 24x7 SOC that gives a good work-life balance and allows for a bit of a social opportunity for people on those night shifts?
