Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

Hey guys I use bitwarden to manage my passwords and aegis as my 2FA app. I was wondering where I should save my 2FA backup codes.

Because let's say I save them in bitwarden's notes section and my bitwarden gets compromised 2FA would act as another protection layer, but if my backup codes are there too then that defeats the purpose right?

Edit: syntax

2fa backup privacy protect safe
