First of all i just want to say that i understand what the "Digital Forensics" part of DFIR is however im still confused on the "Incident response" part of the acronym. I'm more so wondering what part of the job would be considered IR? As im super interested in the idea of analysing artifacts but im worried that the IR part of the job is going to overpower it …
