We are in the process of developing a product and are using GitLab for version control.

Our primary objective is to ensure that our source code and product build remains secure and confidential, and doesn't get leaked outside our company's network or via a USB stick.

I am not familiar with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and finding it difficult to navigate the market. I've done some research, but it hasn't helped me much.
