What are your thoughts on RCS?

I have a Pixel 4 with the operating system that we can not say here, and Google Play Services (GPS) disabled. I'm using Secure Messenger, or whatever it's called, as my SMS client. I used to use Google Messages, and I don't mind it, as in, the interface and especially the line break key, which Secure Messenger does not have.
