What are the risks if i keep my passwords in a text file on my main drive?

I use Linux and only foss apps so there is no proprietary app that can scan the text file or something. I was about to use keepass but i read sometimes it corrupted the data, requires dependency on keepass for my passwords. The txt file is not uploaded anywhere online, only in encrypted HDDs.
