What are everyone’s thoughts on outsourced-SOC and MDR services?

Hi everyone, my company is currently weighing up moving to a different MSSP that will provide SOC services. Main driver is diminishing quality of current MSSP service. We’re also considering bringing in a combined SOC and MDR service, or even doing it in-house (although will take some time).

What are your thoughts on these options? We are c. 2000 users.

I’m sceptical about going in house because of how long a journey that could be.
